As an Appraisal Institute national instructor for over ten years, John credits his students and co-instructors as the source of much of his appraisal knowledge. He currently teaches Appraisal Institute courses 110, 120, 210, 310, 320, 510, 530, 550, 810, and is also an AQB certified USPAP instructor.
After getting his first computer in 1986, John began creating macros to automate some of the repetitive steps in report writing and make the appraiser's job easier. His staff continually asked for more. This eventually lead to the development and sale of commercial narrative software for PCs. Almost 20 years later, the process evolved into the most advanced intuitive tools for managing the production of narrative style reports - Appraiser's Paradise.
